The African and African Diaspora Studies minor offers an interdisciplinary educational experience that covers the dynamic history, literature, and music of the peoples of Africa and its huge Diaspora. From Egyptian Art to modern jazz, you gain a comprehensive understanding and appreciation of Africa’s past and present. You apply overlapping fields of history, political science, language, literature, art, music, philosophy and religion and can earn credits studying abroad in Africa or the Caribbean.
